The Charge Recovery Company
Background
Every year banks make billions of pounds by unfairly imposing excessive penalty charges on their customers.
If you have been charged for going overdrawn without authority, or had cheques or direct debits bounce, then you are likely to be eligible for a refund of your last six years bank charges from your bank.
Why can I claim?
The Unfair Terms In Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 states that if you are in breach of contract (eg being overdrawn without authority) – which you would be in these circumstances – then you should only be charged the cost of the banks’ administration.
Am I eligible to claim?
If you have suffered ANY penalty charges in the last six years on your bank account, credit card or mortgage you are entitled to a full refund, and in some instances INTEREST on these charges.
There is no minimum or maximum limit to the claim that you can make.
How do I claim?
If you have the time, inclination and knowledge required to deal directly with the financial institutions and the bureaucracy of their official complaints procedures then you could do it yourself.
